Good evening everyone! We come to you with an urgent set of updates regarding the submission deadline and contest dates.

Firstly, we have decided to extend the submission deadline to October 5th, 2026 (8:00 AM BST) in order to give people the weekend to polish up their entries and listings on the website. We originally wanted to give entrants a submission period of 14 days prior to the website-related delay, but shortened it to 10 in order to give Judges more time to evaluate entries in the event of a massive turn out. However, it does not appear that will be necessary, so we are giving those additional 4 days back to you guys. In the future, we will ensure the submission deadline is a fixed length of 2 weeks and lines up with a weekend in this way, as we understand extending it like this less than a day and a half is far from ideal, and we know this.

Additionally, it appears our math was off and the event period was a duration of 8 days and 8 hours rather than at least 9 days, so we have corrected those dates and clarified the opening and closure times as well. Please, take a look:

Beginning of Contest Period: October 23rd, 2026 (12:00 AM BST)
Ending of Voting Period: November 1st, 2026 (8:00 AM BST)

Lastly, the form for teaser trailer footage applications is now open! The deadline for footage applications is October 8th, 2026 (8:00 AM BST), same as the critical bugfix deadline.
